Rebecca Walters

Senior Investigator

Rebecca Walters, J.D., LL.M., MHSA, is an experienced workplace and civil rights investigator with a deep background in higher education and healthcare. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President of Investigations at a major university, where she led a team responsible for handling complaints related to Title VII, Title IX, and professional conduct. Her work covered all levels of the institution, including students, faculty, staff, and senior leadership, addressing allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violations.

Prior to her focus on Title VII and Title IX investigations, Rebecca spent six years overseeing the Employee Relations function at a large university and healthcare system. In that role, she conducted, supervised, and consulted on hundreds of workplace conduct investigations annually and developed and facilitated trainings on key workplace issues.

Her earlier career includes roles as a Human Resources Business Partner, Clinical and Finance Administrator, and positions in Risk Management and Project Management—primarily in complex healthcare environments. Rebecca brings a unique blend of legal insight, operational expertise, and leadership in navigating sensitive workplace and campus matters.
